CONCEPT

FRANCAL CITIZENSHIP was created five years ago, as a pioneer in the business event sector, in order to develop corporate social responsibility management practices of FRANCAL FAIRS. Every year, FRANCAL CITIZENSHIP increases its activities following corporate management trends, in addition to continuous performance, since its establishment, of practices focused on its "Internal Public" and "Community".

PROJECTS

		Waste Management - Social-Environmental Project
	Selective waste collection in the exposition pavilions where Francal Fairs holds its events. It comprises collection, selection, pressing and transportation. Collection is made through a waste pickers' cooperative network that benefits 400 people indirectly.

		NGO's Project - Corporate Inclusion
	NGO's (Non-governmental Organizations) corporate inclusion project was created by Francal Citizenship aiming to offer opportunities to such organizations to take part in business fairs promoted by Francal to provide visibility to their projects and find partners. Participation in Francal fairs is totally free of charge, and NGO's selection is carried out by Francal Citizenship coordination.

		Awareness against Piracy
	It has the purpose of raising awareness of visitors, exhibitors and the public in general of Francal fairs to social effects of piracy on the social, environmental and political tripod. This campaign is merely institutional and has an inspection purpose only. It is broadly divulged in the events on the promoting company by means of visual media and the press.

		Temporary recruitment of disabled people - Social Inclusion
	At Francal events, 30% of professionals recruited for temporary positions are disabled people, aiming at offering insertion opportunities in the job market and professional qualification promoted by Francal Citizenship.

		Community Projects - Task Force with Exhibitors
	"Scholar adopts a school" "Shoe-clad Foot" "Francal Citizenship Toy Room" Oriented to low-income communities, these projects were created based on a partnership with companies that exhibited at the Escolar PaperBrasil, Francal Calçados and Abrin fairs. The partnership with exhibitors consists in the collection of products manufactured by their companies for distribution and support to communities selected by Francal Citizenship. Hundreds of entities have already been benefited with donated products since the creation of the project, under Francal Citizenship supervision, in addition to the creation of the Toy Rooms installed at Cren - Nourishment Recovery Center of the College of Medicine and Nutrition, a Public Hospital that shelters needy children, situated in downtown São Paulo and the Women's Police Station, in SP.

		Basketball Education Project - Social Inclusion through Sports
	An initiative of ASPA - Association of Parents and Friends of Franca Basketball Club - which promotes the participation of children and youngsters of state schools in the city of Franca. In partnership with Francal Citizenship, it develops several cultural activities, personal qualification programs and social inclusion through sports and leisure activities.
